Dividing is the inverse process of multiplication, so anytime you divide by a fraction you can invert and multiply (which looks like below)
(1+(1/x))/(1/x)=(1+(1/x))*(x/1) and x/1=x, so it can be simplified to (1+(1/x))*x
At this point its much simpler and you just have to distribute
(1+(1/x))*x = x*(1)+x*(1/x) which becomes x+1
so remember to "invert and multiply" to make division simpler, then it just requires distributing and simplifying.
(1+(1/x))/(1/x)=x+1
