Depends. 깨다 is used more likely on glasses.
I broke the glass (mirrors). (유리가 깨지다)
or it can also be used like this:
I heard the couple broke up. (그 커플 깨졌대.)
부수다=distroy
I destroyed his desk. (그의 책상을 부셨다.)
or
The construction company is destroying the buildings. (건축회사에서 건물을 부시고 있다.)
