First let x be the number of sweatshirts. We are looking to break even without making a profit here.
You purchased a box of sweatshits for $240 and each shirt in that box cost $12 to print. so, these two would be added together ?=$12x+$240+0 (we add zero because we only want to break even and not make a profit)
This equation has to be equal to the amount that you will need to sell the product for times the number you need to sell which is $18x
So it seems logical that $18x=$12x+$240+0
You can use this eqution to make your graph and also to solve for x (solving for x will require you to do some factoring)
