How to create PDF bookmarks from Microsoft Word?

I have a PDF file which I converted From Microsoft Word. Actually I'm working on an eBook and now I want to publish it as a PDF.How do I create PDF bookmarks, either through Word or through editing the PDF afterwards?

It depends of what PDF software you're using. Most of the PRO versions will allow you to create links, but I believe there might be some free ones you can download.

Have you tried using the Calibre Ebook management tool? It's free and you can create most ebook types, like mobi, epub, and ezw3. They're definitely more versatile than PDF and you can publish directly to Amazon Kindle. It's a full management tool which allows you to create internal and external links.
