Lexical difference between classical and modern standard arabic?

I've seen that linguists do not consider *fuṣḥa* as one, but two varieties: classical and modern.I know that the grammar is nearly identical, but how about the lexicon? false friends etc? Is there for example a study that gives a percentage of similarity?

So fusha and modern arabic are both different ways of expressing language in arabic. The modern arabic represents the way arabs speak in their everyday lives which can slightly differ between arab countries. And fusha is considered to be the way it is taught in schools.
