Arabic is a beautiful language and nothing in it says that it is haram to transliterated into any other language.

It is not haram at all to transliterate Arabic into English. Any thing that make learning easier will be greatly appreciated!

Ofcourse it is not "haram" to transliterate Arabic.
It's not haram, but the transliteration may sometimes miss a vowel in the Arabic original phrase, which may change the meaning. It's something to look out for, but isn't against the Islamic faith to do. Even more careful consideration must be taken if the Qur'an were to be transliterated for example - without caution, one might accidentally change the words of the Holy Book.
