Is Lighroom available only as a subscription?

I'm really confused by Adobe's marketing strategy. From their site it looks like LR is only available for $10/mo as a part of their Creative Cloud push. I don't trust Adobe, half of their software is decent but the other half horrible, I wouldn't want to depend on their cloud at all.On top of that there's the price - $10/mo would cost $240 for two years, I've already used Aperture for 3 years for $80. The cloud is definitely too expensive.I tried a few of the free offerings out there - darktable etc but the UI is not very good and I ended up with a zillion .xmp files next to my images, which messed up the date stamp on the folders (local copy, sandbox)I found some LR disks on ebay and amazon that claim perpetual license but since I can't find a matching offer from Adobe I'm not sure these are legit and would work (has anyone tried them?).Is there a legit offer of LR that doesn't require subscription, bundling with other Adobe software and has perpetual license?
