what's the difference between kisfan (كِسَفًا) and kisafan (كِسَفًا) in Arabic?

What's the difference between `kisfan (كِسْفًا)` and `kisafan (كِسَفًا)` in Arabic ? Also, what is the singular of it ? If possible (optional), give a suggestion how to search for its meaning in `Lisan al Arab` or `Lane's lexicon`

كِسْفًا with Seen Saakinah means a piece or portion قطعة

كِسَفًا with fatHah is اسم جِنْسِ الجَمْعِ of the كِسْف . So it could be used for plural . but isn't necessarily the plural . Hope that makes sense

To look for it in لسان العرب look under the root كسف
