There is never been documented case of HIV being spread by mosquitoes. HIV while assertive in the body is a very weak retrovirus and does not live long outside the body very long at all. It is only transmitted by bodily fluids, such as semen, blood, vaginal, rectal and breast milk. Your chances of getting HIV from a needle stick in the hospital is 0.3% while transmission of hepatitis B if you’re stuck with a needle in the hospital is roughly 30%.
