If you love math depending on what schools you are applying to an SAT Subject test is an excellent way to showcase your knowledge. Here is what the CollegeBoard recommends in determining whether to take Mathematics Level 1 or Mathematics Level 2 Subject tests.
Mathematics Level 1 recommended preparation: three years of college-preparatory math, including two years of algebra and one year of geometry.
Mathematics Level 2 recommended preparation: more than three years of college-preparatory math, including two years of algebra, one year of geometry, and precalculus and/or trigonometry. Attaining a grade of B or higher in precalculus and/or trigonometry.
