Divide everything by 3 to simplify it:
y - 3 = x
Then add 3 to both sides, and you get:
y = x + 3
Now, the 3 is your y-intercept. From the origin, go up three units and draw a dot. Next, the number in front of the "x" is a 1; when the coefficient is 1, we don't write it. That means that as we go to the right on the graph one unit, we go up one unit. So, from the 3 on the y-axis, go right one and up one, and draw another dot. Draw a line through the two dots, and you have your graph.
