What writing systems are used for Levantine?

Levaintine uses the same alphabet that the MSA does. However, there is no agreed-upon writing system for levantine. People usually write the levantine according to how they spell the word. You will see many different ways of writing one single word in Levantine and all depend on your preference.

Levantine Arabic uses the same Arabic script as Modern Standard Arabic and all other dialects of Arabic. In some digital communication, however, numbers and Roman letters can indicate certain Arabic letters -- 2 for hamza, 7 for ح, etc.
