THE FLY IS IN A BODY OR "CLOUD" OF AIR CONTAINED BY THE CAR INTERIOR THAT CARRIES THE FLY ALONG AT THE SAME SPEED AND IN THE SAME DIRECTION AS THE VEHICLE THAT CONTAINS THIS MIXTURE OF GASES CALLED "AIR". SINCE THE INTERIOR AIR IS MOVING AT THE SAME VELOCITY AS THE SURROUNDING VEHICLE INTERIOR AND THE FLY IS CARRIED ALONG WITH THE AIR, IT THEN FOLLOWS THAT THE FLY WILL TRAVEL AIRBORNE THROUGHOUT THIS AIR-FILLED "ENVELOPE" WITHOUT BEING STRUCK BY THE INTERIOR BOUNDARIES OF THE VEHICLE.
