about literature, christmas Carol-Charles Dickens, Stave I

Please answer me, this is due tommorow. 

1. to reveal Scrooge's character to the reader,much of paragraph four example metaphor and simile.identify at least one of each and explain what they reveal about scrooge.

 

2. What is the authorial tone toward Scrooge?

3.how is author's use of the cold at the beginning of the story symbolic? How do the setting and atmosphere reflect Scrooge's viewpoint?

4. How do Dickens's description of Scrooge's nephew and clerk contrast symboically with Scrooge?

5.what is ironic about the fact that scrooge is rich but eats gruel and keeps a low fire?

6. Has Scrooge developed as a character by the end of Stave I of the novella? Explain.
