Option 1. 350 + 5*n/100 where n is the total value of sales

Option 2. 500

Yvette wants to earn the same with both options, so option 1 must equal option 2.

That is, 350 + 5*n/100 = 500

Now, all you need to do is solve that equation for n.

5*n/100 = 500 - 350

5*n/100 = 150

5*n = 15 000

n = 15 000/5

n = 3000
