The equation R=10A-50 represents the revenue R (in dollars)you make by spending A dollars on advertising. Your revenue totaled $200. How much did you spend on advertising?

If R is revenue, and revenue totaled $200, replace R with that amount in the equation! 
 
So...
200 = 10A-50
 
Now solve for A to find how much you spent on advertising!
