“Peter has $25 than Jacob. Mike has $14 less than Jacob. All together they have $272. How much does each have? Make sure to have an equation with a variable, then solve and get your solution for each person.”

Im so stuck on this one problem. Can someone help out?

J+25+J-14+J=272

3J+11=272

3J=261

J=87
