The way the question is written, it can't be solved so much as it can be simplified.
12x * 5 + 2/10
It could be written like this with the same order of operation...
(12x * 5) + (2 ÷ 10)
PEMDAS leads you to do multiplication and division before addition and subtraction.
1) 12x * 5 = 60x
2) 2/10 = 1/5
3) 60x + 1/5 Answer
