I need help! I don't understand this math question at all.

Find three consecutive integers such that the square of the first, increased by the last, is 32.

X is the first consecutive integer

X+1 is the middle integer

X+2 is the largest integer

x^2 + (x+2) = 32

x^2 + x - 30 = 0

(x + 6 )(x - 5 ) = 0

x+6=0 or x-5 = 0

x = -6 or x = 5

-6, -5, and -4 ---> (-6)^2 + -4 = 36 + -4 = 32

5,6 and 7 ---> 5^2 + 7 = 25 + 7 = 32
