We need to know one more thing about the angles....
Are they equal? are they complementary? are they supplementary?
IF the angles are complementary they add up to 90.
So 2x+20 + x - 50 = 90
3x - 30 = 90
3x = 120
x = 40
But then A=2(40)+20 = 80+20=100 and B=40-50=-10, so I doubt they are complementary
If the angles are supplementary, they add up to 180.
So 2x+20 + x - 50 = 180
3x - 30 = 180
3x = 210
x= 70
But then A=2(70)+20 = 140 +20 = 160 and B = 70-50 = 20.
So yes, the CAN be supplementary:160 and 20
If they are equal, then 2x+20 = x-50
2x+20-x = -50
x +20 = -50
x = -70
But then A=2(-70)+20 = -140 + 20 = -120
and B = -70-50 = -120
I doubt they are equal
You don't get to negative angle measures until trig.
I bet they are supplementary:160 and 20

There is not enough information, Ricardo, for anyone to help you. Is there a figure? What is the relation between angles (not angels) A and B?01/04/19
