Hello Muhammad,
First, the equation for determining the area of a circle - which we will need to solve this problem - is as follows:
A = π r2 where A equals area, π equals pie, and r equals the radius which is squared. Since the mirror measures 1 foot from the center to the edge, we can consider the radius to be 12 inches, okay?
Second, all we need do now is to substitute for π and r2
Therefore:
A = 3.14 *122
A = 3.14 * 144
A = 452.16 inches squared
I hope this assists and that you have a great Holiday season. Should you have further questions regarding this solution, need clarity or need one on one tutoring, please feel free to reach out to me. Best!
