Usually 2 lips of a coin are considered independent...and unless you think you have a biased coin, no matter what the record of results is, the next flip has the same 50/50 chance as the first (and every other) flip.

asked 11/12/18Statistics for coin flipping
My wife and I are having a statistics debate. We want to flip a coin to decide which of two activities we'll take, but first we want to flip a coin to determine which side counts for which option. We say, "Whatever this lands on will count for Option A." It lands on heads, so Option A is heads and Option B is tails. With that in mind, does our next flip (to actually decide which option to take) have a 25% statistical chance to land on heads since the last one (to set the options) was also heads, or is it a clean slate with a 50% statistical chance of either heads or tails?
