Hi Summer,
C(6,2) is, I assume, a way of writing 6 choose 2. If so, then here we go!
By definition,
C(6,2) = 6! / (2! x (6-2)!)
= 6! / (2! x 4!)
= 6x5 x 4! / (2! x 4!)
Canceling the 4! from the top and bottom, we have
C(6,2) = 6x5 / 2!
= 6x5 / (2x1)
= 3x5
= 15.
