How many friends does Harry distribute the pizza to? What fraction of the pizza is left? What is the amount of pizza each friend will get if the remainder is divided equally among the friends?

7 pizzas x 5 slice/pizza = 35 slices
4/5 pizza per friend = 4 slices per person
35/4 = 8 friends and 3 slices left. That's 3/5 of a pizza left.
3/5 divided by 8 = 0.075 of a pizza, or
(3/5)/(8/1) = 3/5 x 1/8 = 3/40 of a pizza

Thank you for the answers here. I greatly appreciate it. The teacher provided the answer to the last question as 7/8 of the pizza. Is there any way that that works out? Your answer makes sense, hers does not.10/30/18
