You have 2 unknowns but only 1 equation
2 - 3x - 18z = 4z+ 4 + 18
2 - 3x - 18z = 4z + 22
-3x - 18z = 4z + 20
-3(x+6z) = 4(z+5)
x + 6z = (-4/3)(z+5)
x = (-4/3)z + (-4/3)(5) - 6z
= (-4/3)z - (20/3) - 6z
= (-4/3)z - 20/3 - (18/3)z
= (-22/3)z - 20/3

You have two variables, x and z, but only one equation. It takes two equations to solve for two variables.10/23/18
