Bruce, you've given an equation, which calculates to an answer. This is the correct calculation: ((final-initial)/initial)*100%. All you did was forget to convert your decimal value for change into a percentage, which you do by multiplying by that value 100. (and, maybe, you forgot to group the numerator calculation correctly - you NEED the parentheses!)

1)  31,080-33,300= -2,220

2) (-2220)/33,300= -.066666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666667

You get the idea.   Rounded it.   -0.067

3)-0.067 *100= -6.7 %.  This of course, it is a percent of decrease.
