To find the percent of women that exceed this height, you need to look the z-score you've got here up on a z-chart. Typically the chart will have the whole number and first decimal along the right edge, and the second decimal across the top. The information that the chart gives varies somewhat by the chart you're given.
The chart I have gives the area to the left of the z-score given. You want to find the women with heights greater than 70, so you want area to the right. My chart lists a value of 0.9236 for 1.43, the z-score for this problem. This is area to the left, and we want right, so we subtract from the total area, 1.
1 - 0.9236 = 0.0764
(Some charts give area between the middle and the z-score, and you'd subtract from 0.5 to find the area to the right instead.)
This value is the proportion of women who are taller than 70 in, so multiply by your total population to find the number you're looking for.
