Let x₁=-2                                   Solve using formula        -1/2= (4-3)/(r-(-2))= 1/(r+2)

Let y₁= 3                                                                               

Let x₂= r                                                                          -1/2=1/(r+2) ---> cross multiply to solve

Let y₂= 4

                                                                                        2=(-r)-2 ---> Add 2 to both sides

                 

                                                                                         4=(-r) ---> Divide by -1 on both sides
