Convert to improper fractions and then multiply using standard fraction multiplication.  This is what it looks like:

 

43    49      43 x 49       2107

--- x --- =    ---------- =   --------

 5      9         5 x 9          45

 

Then reduce back to a mixed number, then simplify if possible.  When you do this you will get 46 37/45
