x^2-4 x+ y^2-14 y = 7 is the equation of a circle with and can be written in the general form (x-h)^2 + (y-k)^2 = r^2. Find h, k, and r.

The given equation can be written as----

 

(x-2)^2 +(y-7)^2-49-4=7

 

(x-2)^2+(y-7)^2=60

                          =2*sqrt(15)

 

h=2

k=7

r=2*sqrt(15)
