Semi-retired engineer who loves mathematics

Truck A: 90D + .3m = Cost1

Truck B: 30D + .7m = Cost2

Since the problem asked for a 1 day scenario, the two equations then beccome:

CostA = 90 + .3m

CostB = 30 + .7m equating the 2 equations, we have 90 + .3m = 30 + .7m or .4m = 60 &

**m = 150+ miles to make Truck A a better deal!**
