Calculate the travel time of the bullet, then calculate how far the bullet falls during that time.  That will be the vertical miss distance Δy.

 

t = d/v = (220/550) s = 0.4 s

 

Δy = gt²/2 = 9.8(0.4²)/2 m = 0.784 m
