120 pupils live in the student hostel. They can be subscribed to three magazines: Astronomy, Business and Florist. Each of these magazines has ordered 40 pupils. A total of 8 students were ordered at Astronomy and Business, 14 students were ordered at Astronomy and Flower Shops, while 12 students were enrolled in Business and Floristics. Five pupils have been ordered on all three magazines. Calculate:
(a) how many students are not subscribed to any magazine,
(b) how many students have been ordered exactly on one magazine,
(c) how many students are subscribed to at least two magazines.

Make a Venn diagram with 3 intersecting circles.
In the intersections mark the number of students.
The intersection of all 3 circles has 5 students.
In order to get the other intersections correct, you must subtract out those 5.
Then you should find that the singles in A are 23, in B 25 and in F 19.
Once you have that it is easy to answer the 2 questions.
