at a speed of 4.0 m/s. The car is a distance d away. The bear is 26 m behind the tourist and running at 6.0 m/s. What is
the maximum possible value for d in order for the tourist to make it to the car without getting eaten?

4t + 26 = 6t

26 = 2t

13 = t

 

The car must be less than (4)(13) m away or else, chomp chomp.
