I am not familiar with the box method. So, let me solve it in a different way.
2x^2+3x=9 I am going to subtract 9 from both sides.
-9 -9
2x^2+3x-9= 0
(2x-3)(x+3)=0
2x-3= 0 x+3=0
x= 1.5 x= -3
Again, glad to help a little. I will look up how to solve it using the box method.
