In 0.1 sec, the stone will fall .049 m.

 

The acceleration due to gravity in the metric system is 9.8 m/sec/sec.  The equation of motion with no initial velocity and initial location s₀ is s(t) = s(0) - (1/2)gt² where g is the acceleration due to gravity.
