Is this equation dimensionally correct?

 Is the equation v²/a dimensionally correct?

If v is velocity, say in m/s, and a is acceleration , m/s², then dimensionally:

 

v²/a --> (m/s)²/(m/s²) --> m

 

The dimension is meters (m).  I do not know if that's is correct for the problem you are working.
