The "problem" seems like it'll have to do with "growth" and "bamboo plant", and it should be in question form.
The hypothesis is your "if...then..." statement. It's a statement that you will try to prove true or false, when you carry out your experiment.
So you notice your plant grows faster when you put it closer to the window is your observation. Try making a question from this, and then a "if... then..." statement to predict.
For example, if the observation is "I noticed my gravy getting thicker when I added cornstarch", my problem/question could be "Does adding cornstarch to gravy make it more viscous/thick?" The hypothesis might be "If cornstarch is added to gravy, then the gravy gets thicker".
That might seem a bit obvious, but the hypothesis should be formed BEFORE the observation in an actual experiment.
