help me solve this please . Harold designed a game board that is a square grid with 18 squares on each side. How many squares are on the grid?

I don`t really know how to do this and I have 5 more questions left and I don`t really like my teacher so that`s why i came here and my parents don`t know how to do this either.

Okay, if it's a square grid, then all 4 sides are the same length.

So if there are 18 squares on each side, then you multiply length x width to find the area or number of square units.

So, 18 x 18 = 324 

So there are 324 squares on the grid.

Sheri, the area of a square is side x side, or side ^2.  So, 18^2 is the area.  That's 324 squares.
