does 1oz of containing 4% of something divided into 500mg units result in less than .3% of the 4% of something?

I need to figure out if 1oz of CBD extract containing 4% THC spread into 56 bottles containing 2oz's infused with 500mg of the total extract would be less than .3% THC

Hmm.  Complex dimensional analysis:

 

Let a 4% solution be 4 gm/100mL

 

So, 4g/100mL times 4.9mL/teaspoon times 3teaspoon/tablespoon times 2 tablespoon/1oz = 1.18 g/ oz

 

1.18 g time 1000mg/g times 1/56 bottles = 21 mg/bottle

 

21mg/ 2 oz bottle times 1 oz/ 2 T times 1 T/3 t times 1 t/4.9mL = 0.36 mg/mL

 

.36 mg/ mL = 36 mg/100mL

 

36 mg/100 mL times 1 g/1000mg = .036 g/100mL

 

Thats 3.6%
