The second and the sixth terms of a G.P. are 7 and 243/18, what is their common
ratio?

a2 = a r = 7
 
a6 = ar^5 = 243/18 = 13.5
 
So, a(r^5) = (7/r)(r^5) = 7r^4 = 13.5
 
r^4 = 1.92857 So, r = 1.18
