discount depend of product quantity

let's say we make business, we sell products, but if anyone buys more we will discount more, let's say if we sell 5000 product 2$ for each, and we sell 1000000 by 0.35$ for each, can anyone give me a math function between how much we are discounting per quantity ?? sorry about bad English

1,000,000 by 0.35$ for each is an 82.5% discount per item, because 0.35 is 17.5% of $2.00.
