The phone bill was going to be $82 no matter how much data was used.

 

The rest of the bill, $125 -82, is what they are splitting based on a percent.

 

125 - 82 = $43.

 

I guess the man's name is Bill? he pays 60% of 43

 

(.6) x (43) = 25.80

 

Now I'm assuming they each pay half of the $82 as well. That's $41

 

Bill pays 25.80 + 41.00 = $66.80
