Hello Tayo,

 

My graphing calculator has become unusable, but I suggest that by entering the left side of the equation as "Y" = 

e^2x - e^x+3 - e^x+1 + e⁴, graph, 'fit' the window if necessary, use the '2nd trace zero' key sequence to find the x-intercept(s), if any.

 

I suspect x is an irrational number.
