Give me examples of 4 different types of number that are considered rational numbers.  I answered (1, 5, 9, 10) and missed -1/2.

Rational numbers are normally considered to be the fractions. Your teacher probably wanted answers like 3/4 or certain types of decimals can be converted to fractions like .7 = 7/10 or .3333333 repeating which is 1/3. Your answer of 5 can be represented 5/1 so technically this is a fraction too.
