I assume you mean that the object has an initial speed of 2.5 m/s as it begins accelerating down a ramp at 0.35 m/s/s. Since the acceleration is constant, the instantaneous velocity at time t is:
v(t) = v0 + at
- v(t) velocity at time t seconds after the acceleration starts
- v0 = initial velocity = 2.5 m/s
- a = acceleration = 0.35 m/s2
- t = time (in seconds) = 15 seconds
Plug in the numbers and compute the answer.
