the lengths of legs of an Isosceles triangle are integers.  the base is half as long as each leg. what are the possible lengths of the legs if the perimeter is between 6 units and 16 units?

let x= the length of each leg

the perimeter is x+x+0.5x=2.5x

6<2.5x<16

6/2.5<x<16/2.5

2.4<x<6.4

x has to be an integer, so x can be 3 units, 4 units, 5 units, or 6 units

3 units makes the perimeter 6.5 units, 4 units makes the perimeter 10 units, 5 makes 12.5, and 6 makes 15

2 is too small and 7 is too large
