how do u factor X squared minus 7X plus 10

I don't know how to factor or how to use the square method or diamond method for that matter. I know that the set up is X squared plus Bx plus C and that I need to find the factors of C that add up to B but I don't understand how to do that for X squared minus 7x plus 10 because I know that the factors of 10 are 1 10, 2 5 and i know that if the equation was X squared plus 7x plus 10 that 2+5 is 7 therefor the solution is (x+2)(x+5) but what do you do for the other one???
