I take the two factors to be 4 cis 60 and 2 csi 20, so the product =8(cis 80o), that is, 8 (cos 80o + i sin 80o)

In electrical engineering books, they often use j as the symbol for √-1 instead of i, to avoid confusing it with the "i" for electrical current.
