The area of a semicircle is half the area of a circle. Hopefully you know how to find the area of a triangle. I can't see the shaded region, but I bet it's the difference between the two areas. How do we come up with a difference?

I was wondering if you would be able to help me with this problem.
A triangle is placed in a semicircle with a radius of 8 ft. Find the area of the shaded region. Use the value 3.14 for pi and do not round your answer. Be sure to include the correct unit in your answer.
